Okay... I received my punishment. Overall it wasn't too bad. It could have been a LOT worse. I was instructed to write a letter of condolences to the wife of the man who was in my car at the time that I was observed speeding. I was told to imagine that I had gotten into an accident that caused him to be killed. His punishment was the same. Then, at our lunch formation, I had to read the letter to the formation. He had to do the same. There was talk of us having to dig each others graves, but it was deemed a little severe. I have been hopping on periodically throughout the day to check on the MOTM poll, but I haven't had enough time to really delve into the forum. I am getting ready to leave the house to help a guy with his... Suzuki Forenza... I have an ELM327 to read his codes and he can't afford to pay $80 to the local Firestone to read them for him. I will be on later. Have a good day!

I am hoping just engine codes. He isn't really a car guy, I just offered to save him some money. He has complained that his alternator is bad... I don't know. His "MIL" is on so I should be able to read them with what I have.

You should be able to read them. If you cant, go to Advanced on Sheridan and Cache. I got them to read the codes when my Monte was having trouble.

Thanks guys. It turns out that his battery is too dead for me to get a reading from his computer. They are putting on the new alternator tomorrow morning so I should be able to read it at lunch. Have a good one all!

Greg glad you survived your punishment.
Mod Mike hope things are well.
Had a good day today. Went and met up with an old friend for coffee this morning and stopped to talk to an old boss. He has a friend who run a summer youth camp and is looking for a summer camp director. I sent him my resume, it would be a fun summer job and good experience leading a group of employees.
So you may have noticed earlier I determined with Greg's help that the Trans AM is a scam. I also had an offer to buy my camaro. The guy wanted a few more pictures before committing so I went out to snap a few. Long story short, I am keeping the camaro. The car is to clean to get rid of. I also found a local mechanic who seems really good and he recommended I talk to a machine shop in town about just rebuilding my block. It would save me some money. Also would go ahead and do long tube headers and a cam while the engine is out.
