Good evening MCF family. I just got done creating another IDR custom.
Lemme know what you think. Earlier on my lunch break, I went by a couple of pawn shops and found a blaupunkt new orleans head unit. I spoke to them about it and they traded me straight out for my cheap pioneer radio. In using it, I wish I could find a usb cable for it. I need to go by a dealer authorized to sell those radios to get some accessories. Or ebay.
Anyways, without further ado, I bring you my custom radio dash plate...
Thoughts? Keeping in mind its just the first sketch. I still have a bit of sanding to do.

Not to shabby man. Are you going to clear it after you are done sanding it?
On another note. Lisa was going thru some of the Christmas ornaments boxes and found this one.
I had totally forgot that i made this one last year. Maybe i'll fire up the machines and make some this year also.

No, im not gonna clear it. I want a matte finish to match my dash more. Im just gonna sand it more to smooth it up. I was actually kinda thinking of cutting the radio hole diagonal, make it original... but I decided this instead.

Good Morning Everyone,
So far so good on the house front. It is closing sooner than they said. When I signed papers last night, it was set for a Dec 10th, 2010 closing. The only down side to that is i'll have 3 less pay checks banked that I was thinking. But its going to happen regardless. Get this, I went to the MLS, redfin, and realtor.com so I could pull the listing and show you guys, but they have already removed all the listings for it. 
So i'll have to take pictures after I get it, and post. What will be fun is posting the pictures as is, right now, and then posting the pictures of the inside right before I move into it. I plan on doing so major painting, carpets, and possibly some interiors doors before even moving in, so the before and after pics are going to be cool to see!
I'm going to go get a cup of coffee now. LOL

Morning All,
Greg, if you're online this morning, wanted to let you know my trip to Ft. Sill got canceled. COL Richmond (TCM AAMDC) scratched my meeting with him. I'll still get out there some other time in the near future though. When I do, I'll give you a heads-up and see if we can meet for lunch or something.

Michael that is awesome. Can't wait to see the photos.
Morning everyone, it is snowing here, but doubtful it is snowing enough to put it in 4 wheel drive. Can't wait to try the tires in the snow. Last winter the suburban was not engaging 4 wheel drive do to bad auto hubs so I am stoked to see how it does this winter.
