Happy Birthday John!

Yesterday ended up being such a gorgeous day outside that I let the door hit me in the butt right at 2:30 (when i'm technically SUPPOSED to get off everyday) and went home, changed, and picked up my GF. Then headed over to Santa Cruz! It was only 2 degrees cooler in Santa Cruz, right on the water. (75, from 77 degrees in San Jose). So we spent sometime on the beach, and I fell asleep on the beach then went for a nice walk, and had a great dinner at the harbor! So after work, yesterday was a great day!

Today should be another nice day too...but no real plans after I get out of work, I would like to take a nice nap. LOL, then MAYBE go to the gym.

Anyway, Happy St. Patrick's Day! Have a good hump day everyone.

 

morning all, just got to work, my donor car is getting towed to my parents today then after work i have to head there and figure out parking!! it'll be a full driveway thats forsure

Whats up guys? I aint been kicked off line yet so I thought Id say hi. I can go anywhere on the web and stay there all day. I come here and Im lucky if I get to read more then 2 posts b4 Im kicked off. I love the MFC site but I hate the frustration.
My Monte took a few steps in the wrong direction. The wheels are gone, Frame is on floor, and the body is on jack stands again. I think some body mods might be in the works here soon.
Today I am taking my engine block to the machine shop. They are hookin me up with a crank and connecting rods and since I dont know what order my main caps go on they said theyll help me out with that.
Over the last few weeks Ive been turning my garage into a shop. I upgraded my little air compressor to a 80gal. 3 cyl. air compressor. It took the electric company almost 2 weeks to come run power out to my shed. Yeah, I said shed! I dont want that much noise in the shop. I also got a 20 ton press, a 30 gal. sand blasting cabinet, a 3 ton jack, and a good variety of body and metal fab tools. I used my Monte Carlo funds to buy them tools. Im sure the Monte dont mind. It didnt care when I bought the drill press or metal lathe. She did get pissed when I bought the powder coating oven. You gotta spend Money to make Money. In my case, I gotta spend money to make Monte.
