Hi EveryBody, It's a New`Day
How are you going to invest/spend your `day ?
What's it going to cost you ? or someone else ?
It's another cold morning for Florida, but this 2 shall past & the Sun shall warm our days,
and then we can complain about
the heat...It's all part of the cycle of `life (?)
Weather impacts our lives in so many ways.
I just finished my night shift and I'm just happy 2 `be.
The past is the past (Learn from it)
The future isn't here (I look 4ward 2 it)
The `Present is `Now
(EnJoy)

Good morning all! I am having a good day so far. I am looking forward to meeting up with another member of the forum on the 14th. I am still in the process of clearing the post so I am almost out of here. I have Suddenlink cable/internet and one of my favorite things about leaving is, I won't have to deal with them anymore! Yay!
Morning members
space, how are the beach bums? And yourself?
justin, what's the progress on the restoration?
I realize I myself haven't been on here much, but I do at least like to check in on the blog now and then, to weigh in on key issues. Its kinda busy here with promises of gettiing busier.
Arrow Advertising Sign Spinners just merged and took over MGM Sign Spinners, so now my part time job is Arrow Advertising Sign Spinner.
they actually have the 3rd best in the nation, 7th best in the world, Best in the west spinner training me on my job. So ill be even better. Plus they are going to all of the local businesses to get some more work for me and the crew im in. They seem pretty promising.

Morning All.
Thanks for the beautiful pic, Space. It almost makes me feel warmer... almost... In the 20's here again. Brrrrrr...
Have fun clearing, Miller. I know what a pain it can be. Going from office to office, waiting in lines, collecting signatures, someone's not there so gotta come back later. I cleared / PCS'd 11 times.
I took another pic with the Taz t-shirt yesterday. I'll try to get more today. Bitterly cold here but at least it's sunny today. I still need to find someone who wants it next. (For newcomers or if you don't know what I'm talking about, check out this link: https://montecarloforum.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=21084.
Associated pic's can be found at: https://montecarloforum.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=21225.)
Edit: The Taz-T has it's next destination: sunny CA! Thanks, Barovelli.

Good Morning Everyone!
My mom took my Monte to the carwash yesterday and got it all cleaned inside and out for me (she's had it for a week, and i've been driving her Bonneville). So when she got back from Bakersfield she cleaned it before giving it back. It looks so good, it has been a while since I washed it. Then I just heard its supposed to rain later today!
I hate winter for that, you can never wash your car, and when you do it doesnt last long. Oh well, at least one layer of dirt is off! LOL
Have a good day everyone!

SpaceX Expected To Launch Falcon 9 Today
Launch Window Opens Wednesday Morning
POSTED: 7:51 am EST December 8, 2010
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- It may be a faster and cheaper way to get into space, and it appears ready to launch on Wednesday.
The launch of a Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled for 9 a.m., and engineers have used some novel and inexpensive approaches to getting the rocket prepared for flight.
"We've got some trouble with a rocket nozzle," SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell said.
At the launch pad where the Falcon 9 rocket stands poised to make history, engineers have been examining some cracks in a rocket nozzle, which is a bell-shaped part at the base where the flame comes out.
The cracks are right at the edge of the nozzle, so mission managers have discussed trimming some of the cracked metal and proceeding with the launch.
Meanwhile, NASA has spent months analyzing cracks in the space shuttle's external fuel tank -- even after they have been fixed.
While a comparison is not perfect because lives are at stake on the space shuttle, and the cracks are in a different place, NASA would never except trimming cracked metal in order to proceed with a mission.
But SpaceX is not bound by NASA's convoluted procedures nor haunted by its painful past, which is why the President Barack Obama wants to give SpaceX a try.
Commercial spaceflight could be cheaper and faster, but it could also be more risky. SpaceX officials said they're not shy about saying the new Falcon 9 rocket, launching an unmanned capsule that could one day carry astronauts, has a 30 percent chance of some serious problem.
"We take big risks," Shotwell said.
SpaceX is trying to fast-track its new rocket. If this mission goes well, it can start flying cargo to the International Space Station.
