Mainly though I try to keep away from the subject because I like my mind to be off of it, but I think as time goes on it's a bit easier to talk about it without thinking favorably about it, if that makes any sense.
If you don't mind me asking, did your wife quit smoking or is she still? How is that working out?
but that is another reason i want to quite... since he was born i have actually cut back some becuase i do not smoke in the car when he is in there.. and have actually just about cut out smoking in the car all together..... and i never did but i don't smoke in the house... it get's cold out there in the middle of the winter at -20(another reason to quite).....

Man, Jack. Every time I went outside in the freezing cold I thought about quitting. I remember smoking alone on Christmas Eve outside. My father used to smoke out the car with us kids in it too, and I'm pretty sure he still would.
As far as the engagement: my girlfriend's bro asked and was engaged for 7 years before they married. that's probably a really long engagement though.
