Chris, it's probably a bad connection at the wheel. Take apart the connector and spray some contact cleaner in it, and maybe even use some pipe cleaners along with it. Blow it out good. I've been using some wd-40 when I put it together, on the outside only, to help seal out the moisture. Unless you know your speed sensor is bad, it's not, it's the connector.

Wow how to make a good day go bad so I was quick waxing my car today and I heard some scratching and I now have some scratch marks in my hood liner so I pulled my engine cover to try and find it and there was some kind of mouse building a nest under it and I saw oil and did some more digging around and my intake gasket is leaking!! f***ing ! Great ! has any one on here changed the intake gasket or should i just take it some where ?

Evening all. Well I drove the Monte to work today, and parked it in the garage when I got home. Looking under it, there is more transmission fluid leaking than before
So I'm probably going to just park it for a while. In 2 weeks I'm pulling the transfer case in the Z71 to weld the hole in the oil pump housing and put in the steel plate to fix it the way it should've came from the factory. After that I'll try again on the Monte. We're talking about getting rid of it now, but get what? Someone elses problems???
I'm REALLY bummed about it, but that's the way it is. I'm guessing now that somewhere the torque convertor WAS and IS still leaking, but that's just a guess right now.
