So... I allowed a co-worker to drive my car today. I sat in the passenger seat, gave him a good 5 minute brief about how the car handles, how to accelerate without burning the rubber off of the tires, braking, traction control, the water-methanol injection... The whole deal. BAD IDEA. It was like the guy completely forgot everything I told him. We peel out of the RCF parking lot. He overcorrects... OVER AND OVER AND OVER! We started to get "speed wobbles" at about 70 mph. The guy freaks out and starts hitting the gas harder! I had to coach him off of the throttle and allow the car to develop its normal, stable, ride. It was exciting. The guy had a blast, but from now on... People in my car will only be allowed to ride in the passenger seat. Have a good night everyone.
