Hurricane Earl path: Thursday update as storm strengthens again
Posted by Debbie Turner | Thursday, 2 September | Filed under U.S.
Hurricane Earl could make for a rainy, windy holiday weekend.
We’re still bringing you regular updates on the projected path of Earl as it continues to approach the eastern coast of the U.S. and in our last update the projected path had been extended further northwards and more warning and watch alerts had been issued.
The latest update from the National Hurricane Center tracking the storm is that Earl has strengthened yet again and now has maximum sustained winds of 145 mph as of 5:00 am EDT today (Thursday). The hurricane is moving in a north-northwest direction at 18 mph and is currently 410 miles south of North Carolina.
Hurricane warnings and watches, and Tropical Storm warnings and watches have all been extended. For full details of all the alerts in place hit this link to the National Hurricane Center. Even people in areas such as northern New England and southeastern Canada should continue to monitor the hurricane’s progress.
The current forecast is that the hurricane will pass close to the North Carolina outer banks by tonight and by tomorrow night (Friday), will approach southeastern New England. Are you in any of the areas that may possibly be affected by Hurricane Earl, and do you feel prepared? We’d be interested to know your thoughts on the hurricane so do post your comments on the MCF Forum : )
I'll get out there in the Ocean & check the conditions for everyBody : )
It's a wet `job, but someone got 2 do `it : )

Good morning everyone!!
Picked up my rims last night. They look fantastic. IDK when I'm going to put them on the car though. I may through them on next weekend to drive around with them, but I might just hold out until next year when I can put new rubber on them and drive them daily.
