Morning everyone!

The popcorn cartoon reminds me that our very own Moderator Space appeared on a coupon for free popcorn.

Morning all. Just a quick pop in to check things out, and I'm off to the Church to work for the afternoon, on some wiring in 2 classrooms. I got the outlets done, now just to finish the lighting. Hopefully (twitch, twitch) I won't (twitch, twitch) hurt myself (twitch, twitch) or do something STUPID with the wiring (twitch, twitch), like (twitch) happened (twitch) 2 weeks ago (twitch) when a wire shorted (twitch) out and burned a spot on the ceiling (twitch). Someone disconnected the conduit and light switch to paint (since is was getting rewired anyway), and left it dangling. OF COURSE I"M the one to wiggle it and make it cut thru the insulation and short out! That's a GOOD thing! I was able to rewire the light into another circuit, and eliminate the switch. COULD"VE burned down the entire building! That part is OLD. No breakers there, fuses. That's part of the goals, to replace the fuse box with a breaker box. Maybe next week.

Drivers! SSHHEEESHHH! 1st the old guy that I was attempting to pass yesterday on a country road. He was doing about 45, me about 55. As I went around him, he wandered into the left lane, applied the brakes, and turned left into his driveway. No turn signal, never looked, nothing! I was beside him when he turned. Not sure how he didn't hit me, but God was looking out for us both! I don't think he EVER knew I was even there at all. Never! Then I followed a young girl (she was playing with her hair while talking on the cell phone (?). Watched her run off the road TWICE, and the 2nd was in some BAD chuck holes. The car bounced violently, and she just kept playing with her hair. I turned just after that. Then about a mile later, a young soccer mom backed out right in front of me on a busy road, and I had to lock'em up for her. She FINALLY got up to 30 in a 50, before she pulled over and let me by. No accidents, but people JUST DON'T LOOK! Not saying anything bad about girl drivers. Just happened these 2 young ladies were not paying attention AT ALL!
Sorry for the rant. Maybe the wrong section for that.

Have a SAFE day everyone!

That's my big problem with the rear-view cameras. People think just because you aren't in their little screen on their dashboard they don't have to look around the WHOLE car when backing up.

Wayne, glad everyone is okay. We all got bad drivers everywhere.

The Discovery Channel has a few Canadian shows that they air on the Discovery Channel here. They're mixed in with all the regular Discovery Channel shows.

Anyway, there's a show here called Canada's Worst Driver. It's in it's fifth season right now. Out of the 7 nominees for this year's show, 2 of them are from right here in Windsor. If you've ever driven here, that shouldn't surprise you.

Edit: The host has a thick east coast accent. No, we don't all talk like that. LOL. I sound more like a Detroiter because of my geographic location. :-)

wayne, i hate drivers like that too! they make me sooo angry! lol. my friends love driving with me because when people do crap like that i start yelling at them, not like screamin but ya know what i mean =D

today's the day! ahh!
got up later then what i wanted because my friend tim was over last night chillin at my place until like 1am lol. been in my chem class since 10am. get outta class in bout 20 min ugh. trying to pay attention to lecture while trying to study for my honors great books midterm at 1, read 3 of the 4 books we were suppose to read for the exam so hopefully there arent a lot of questions relating to that fourth book =[ after this class i got to run all around campus doing errands before i go to that class and that the midterm until 215. then i gotta rush home and do some stuff and gotta be in tim's car to head to the airport by 3. sooo nervous! ive never been a fan of flying at all! my flight leaves at i think 535 and then since there is no straight shot to saint louis, i gotta fly to dallas (which i'm even more scared of that huge airport) and then fly to st louis fromm there =[ i'm praying that i dont screw up and miss any of my flights =[ fun fun stuff. i'll try to get on here whenever i get home in missouri tonight if i'm not too tired lol.

hope everyone has a great day!!!

Hi guys n gals.

Guess what today is? It's FRIDAY!!! (for me anyways)

My next to last friday off. Then it's 6 months with no days off.

Looks like Mr. Weatherman got it all wrong, again. What's new? He said yesterday, "Thursday expect lots of sun with highs near 68 degrees."
Guess what? No where near 65 degrees today and gee where's the sun?

I need to get some cars packed away.
(watch. Tomorrow it'll be sunny and warmer)

OKAY! Who's going out Trick or Treating tonight? Raise your hand.
