I suppose I have a really loose interpretation of "work," because I think that just being alive is so much work at something you don't always want to do. The machinery is always going. Even when you sleep.

The world is getting to be such a dangerous place, a man is lucky to get out of it alive.

Life is without meaning. You bring the meaning to it. The meaning of life is whatever you ascribe it to be. Being alive is the meaning.

Mornin' Space, Mornin' all. Gonna be a GREAT day 4 sure. Even if it IS rainin'. Even if the wife was up all night pukin'. My day started out right cuz last night ended good. I sold my 1st item ever on Ebay last night. For a healthy profit. I bought it a couple of years ago for $5 at a garage sale, and it sold for $88.41 last night! I'm happy with THAT kind of profit margin! I know other things won't go that good, but hey, I'll take that good start ANY DAY!
AND, one of the local community colleges called me yesterday and want's me to teach some classes come January. There appears to be 12 classes to chose from between 2 campuses. It's a foot in the door. Depending on the job situation, I might make this a full time part time gig, and teach maybe 4 classes. I have a chance to teach 1 both during the day and night. These are almost all technical classes, including technical math, blueprint reading, GD&T, intro to CAD, NC/CNC, etc. I'm shying away from the nuclear physics stuff, altho there is an opening in that department (we have 2 nuclear power plants within half an hour of the college). LOL to nuclear physics!
Keep the faith that God will take care of your needs. Maybe not your wants. Like the little kid at Christmas in the mall, we WANT everything we see. But do we NEED it? Sometimes our Father will tell us NO for our own good, just like the kid in the mall. NO, you don't NEED that. As a little kid, we have faith that our parents will take care of us. When they fall down, their parents will pick them up. Same thing applies, if we let it.
JJ, How's the job hunting going for you?
Gotta go to work now, but have a GREAT day. BELIEVE it.

Goodmornin' all. Thanks to all for the supportive words in wed thread., my nephew did recieved schrapnel in the hip and lower body but will recover completely in time physicallly. Although he's been in the theature several times before it has always been in his primary job which is a fire rescue with the Marines air corps on carriers or outside the hot zones on land. The need for troops in the zone put his detatchment (firefighter first responders) in to assist the actual axx kicking grunts. the attack and loss of members of his team put him in a state of shock which he's really going to have to deal with long term. Thanks again and the Seal Tridents placed on the fallen hero's is a long standing tradition and show of respect...not urban myth. Jarhead

Morning space, wayne, and Jarhead. Good to see you on here. The dog woke me up early this morning. He is getting tired of being stuck at home all week. Gonna have to get him outside to play.

Hope everyone has a good thursday.
