Evening all.
JJ, hope you get back on your feet soon, but take it easy until you can.
Justin, good luck with the plumbing.
Todd, NICE new toy!
The weather hasn't been TOO bad here today. Blowing and drifting right now, but it's Michigan. Deal with it! Temp's in the 20's. Not bad all in all.
I figured out yesterday that we have a HOLE in the transfer case of LadyT's Z71. It's been a KNOWN problem, worthy of TSB's, but never a recall. If you have a late model half ton GM with 4x4 and an "auto" button, you'll get one also, sooner or later. We got ours later than sooner, but a guy I just talked to did an '06 this week with 60K on it. They've been known to get holes with less miles than that. There is a puney clip that wears and breaks, and the oil pump wears through the case, making a hole in the rear case at the top.
I've just about had my fill of GM's BS. But it's obvious that there probably isn't anything else better. I want a HORSE!

justin you should see if you can find a hurst shifter for it and a T-handel lol THAT would be funny as hell but im with lou, your unemployed so you GOTTA do an interior detail on that thing! even vacume & armor all it!

shindig, i hear ya on that one! they called off school again, good thing because we have probibly another foot overall so far today, and now that the winds picked up its all drifting everywhere, cant even tell i shoveled, the monte is almost buried and the talon is up to the body side moulding in snow out in the backyard, the bottem of the hood is compleatly buried too. opened the back door in the garage for a minute to get firewood and my buick has a dusting of snow on it! this is kinda nuts, but thats the northeast for ya!

todd IDK what dumb student would give you crap when you have an arsinal like that! idk if you can buy one of those in PA though chris... mabe if its semi-automatic? im not really sure on that.

yha i really wish we never sold our old '66 D-500. that thing could plow like a mother, lol although at least its not bitterly cold like it gets sometimes. i would rather the snow than it be like 5* and down to like -1* with the wind chill.
