Good Morning everybody. It's been busy around here since 6:30 am! trying to warp gifts for my wife. Get the house in order. I have errands to run. carmen gets off at noon. She has gifts to take back. I have to get the oil changed in her car for the trip. Trying to set aside things to take with us. Trying to plan our trip. Where were staying the 1st night. The second night!!! Which route to take. Don't get me wrong. I love doing this stuff. But I'm busier then normal. So. With that being said. I have to run. I'll check back later. No that would be nice to do. But not during the winter months. I did twice on the Harley. Now thats a trip to take. Love all those old towns.

 

Well Its been a while. I just got back from the car wash with the Monte. She's all nice and clean. Inside & out! Now she parked next to her sister ( the 70 chevelle) Both sitting there all nice and pretty. ha ha ha. Now I have to get the wifes car ready to go. Thats another story. A lot to do there. Oil change vacum, wash inside & out. Then take the NEW trunk mat out of the Monte and put it in her Cobalt. Then we should be ready to go. Yahooooooo 3 more days and counting HEE HEE. I wanta go I wanta go.........

Sounds like Christmas is getting into full swing.

I had ordered (on behalf of my parents) a set of Barbie Store It All Carrying cases for barbie dolls for my nieces. Well, it said (on Monday) that standard shipping would get it here in time for Christmas. I didn't necessarily trust that. I decided to go with the extra $15 and get it two day shipping ot be safe. Good thing I did, because when I ordered it early Monday afternoon, it said estimated delivery date was December 24, 2010.

Well today we got an e-mail saying that not only would it not make it by Christmas Eve, it would be February 7th, 2011 before it made it. So I cancelled hte order. That meant a trip to Wal-Mart for mom and I. We got them squared away now.

BTW, there is a Kid Space doll available through Barbie. Check it out! In his Beach gear!

 

 

I just found out I have a job interview on Monday! About the same money starting out but they cover health insurance! I have to get all the details when I have my interview and I'll let ya know how it went - I'm so excited!

 

Sounds like a good little "Merry Christmas" to you then to have a job interview coming!! Good luck with it... hope you end up being the top candidate for the job!

The thread ain't a very happening place today. I hope all of our members are enjoying times with their reality families and taking a good time off of work before coming back to reality and their MCF Family soon!

 

Not a great day. Went to a rehab hospital to see about restoring my hand to full use. You should see the contraption of a splint/brace they put on it. I'll try to get a pic up soon. It involves super gluing a hook to the nail on my pinky, attaching fishing line to it running down to a spring connected to the brace farther down on my arm. Worst part is I need to ball and unball my hand from a fist 30-40 times per hour, all day when I am awake. I can't even do it once, because the pain is EXTREMELY sharp. I only had surgery a week ago today and the stitches are still in. I'm just hoping the pain lessens enough to do the exercises, or I could lose use of the pinky.
I don't mean to come off as too much of a complainer, but this is the worst I've ever hurt myself, and it had to come at Christmas. I know some other members here are having some issues too, health and otherwise, so here's to hoping we can all keep the faith and get through this! Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all, though!!!
