I usually don't contribute to the blog that much... but I'll throw in my two cents today.

I had my 4 wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. And thats just as well, I can't really do anything in the snow anyway. Yeah, 2" of snow and some freezing rain can shut down NC.

But my face is rather swollen right now. I look a bit like a chipmunk, hence those of you who have me on Facebook, that's my profile picture....

So here is a little of my life right now.... just sore, not really hurting yet. Hoping I don't get a dry socket mainly. Eating bananas and mashed potatoes.....

Swollen jaw...

And here are some pictures of our snow and ice. My dad was coming up the interstate and called ofr a weather report. I told him it didn't look like a trip to Norfolk was going to get much better so he came on home.

haha wow Duane! You swelled up a good amount huh?

When I had mine pulled about 5 years ago I was talking on the way home, and ate a sandwich after the numbness went away that night. I found out quick I wouldn't be able to live on all that mushy stuff. I luckily never swelled up or had any issues.

Yeah, my life could be better... they saw the swelling peaks on day 3.... well..... I'm on day 2. I might go curl up by the fireplace with my little bottle of pain killers

I'm trying to stay in good spirits though. I believe alot of how this goes is how you look at it. The worst part was honestly that gauze they stick in your mouth for the bleeding. I could not STAND that. And I've been car sick like twice in my life, including yesterday. The anesthesia threw off my balance and the curves of the road didn't get along with me well. The swelling is getting bad now though, but mostly on that one side. The tooth on that lower left jaw was at about a 90 degree impaction.... basically, perpendicular with the rest of my teeth. Only about 3-4% of wisdom teeth come in that way. One of them was in right and the others were the forward facing type, but they weren't exposed. Yay....

I swelled up like a blow fish when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. But at least they gave me the really good pain killers. Good luck Duane. Get a bottle of rum and you won't feel a thing.

Morning Everyone.

Just sitting here drinking my coffee then i have to head out to the post office to send a package to PA. I have to do some searching on Craigslist so i can start getting an idea of what a certain "SOMETHING" will cost me. I might be looking for one soon.

Dwayne, the good thing is that they are out and your going to be able to enjoy the Christmas eats. YUM!!!

Micheal, when is your house warming party?

Why can we have snow here? in second thought, never mind. People drive like idiots when its rains. Imagine with snow? FUN TIMES!!!

Jamao, for a second there wheni saw that pic, i thought you had our old Apt. That looks so much like our place back in Lawton.

This was taken a few years ago.
