Justin, which engine is that? A 5SF-E? If so, they are still really good engines. My mom has 215xxx miles on it and hasn't taken any care of it (for example, we still need to change the ORIGINAL timing belt on it )

Heading out to see if I can figure out why the suburban wont start. Wish me luck and hope for no rain until I am done.

Dustin, i have not idea what motor is in it all i know is it's a 4cyl vvti, already has 160k on it,

Todd, try jumping the starter with a screw driver, put part on the hot and part on the start, that'll tell you if it's the starter/sylinoid,

You could also give it a whack or too with a hammer. If it starts right up, then you might need new brushes on your starter. Easy 10 min fix.

been there.... was on the saty tho, crowbar thought the intake lol

Justin and JJ, thanks for the ideas. I went out and low and behold it fired right up. hmm thinking the ignition switch may be going out.

Todd, a bad starter will do that to you. Have you noticed that when you run around a bit it, the starter starts to drag, but will mostly likely start when its cold? That is a sign of a bad starter. Just something to keep in mind.
