Mornin' all. No donut for me right now. I got a package of plain ones at work. Just the java n a plain bagel w/ cream cheese today.
Still another chilly morning here. 36 out there right now, and only a high of 61 today. No rain in the forecast, and it is SOOO dry out there!
I see we hit 8,000 members the other day! Best thing about the last at least 500 or so is that most know we were hit HARD with spammers a while back. Pro'ly at LEAST half of the new members for a while were spammers. With the new security measures in place, they have been pretty much eliminated, from what I can see, at least! For a while there I was spending all my time banning new members from Russia, China, Germany, or wherever. Sometimes 3 or 4 a day. I don't think I have banned a new member in at least a month or so. Since the new security went in place. So a BIG round of applause to the admin's and tech staff for making the MCF a MUCH safer place to hang out! THANK YOU! Makes my job SO much easier. Now all we have to deal with are a few insults or foul language, and thanks to you guys, most of that gets reported by you, and the 1st mod' available takes care of that.
We have a GREAT staff right now, along with a WONDERFUL group of core members. Makes me proud to be one of the staff here on the MCF!

Good Morning MCF!

Yay! Its Thursday, which means tomorrow is Friday, and I get to sleep in an extra 3 hours!

I'm just waiting for my coffee that I just started. Today will be dead at work, this new phone company we are switching to keeps screwing up our lines when they try to transfer them from ATT to Cbeyond (the new provider). So yet again (3rd time in a month) none of the office phone lines work, which means no clients or workers can call the office. Now isnt that just great for business. AGH.

On a happy note, the rain appears to have stopped, so today should be sunny and in the 60's!

Thats funny, you must have JUST flew over, because it only been outside for about an hour now. The Monte was in the garage last night! :P LOL JK!

Seriously though, my Monte definitely needs to be washed, and the inside needs cleaned too. Maybe this weekend if its still nice!

I would really like to fix the rubber trim pieces on the roof soon. Mine are looking faded, and have a few cracks in the paint. I think I want to just replace them with plain UNPAINTED black rubber so that I don't have to worry about the paint cracking and fading because it doesnt take well to the rubber. I don't understand why Chevy painted the roof trim/ seal on them cars, when just about every other car I look at has just plain black rubber. The paint on my car is in perfect condition, but those freakin things are not. So thats on my want/ to do list eventually.
