Geez. Sorry to hear about the job situation Wayne. Whether you know it's coming or not, losing your job sucks.

It wasn't much of a day today. It was grey, cold, windy and raining all day.

In response to Chris' (montecarlo 3831) question yesterday about what my Monte looks like with the winter rims and snow tires on. Here's the pics he asked for. One without the Wally World hubcaps, and one with.

The Monte looks like crap with four spare tires.

wayne, very sorry for your job loss, things will get better for you, teach some of those classes you talked about before. i think that might help and maybe it will even be a good change for you, kinda somthing better than the regular day-to-day rat race most people live these days..

taz, thanks for pics, the hupcap pics don't look that bad, i even like the no hubcap look, might not be that bad if i just put steelie wheels no caps on my black monte???

and for those you who know, the move at my work is beginning this weekend through next week, gonna be tons of fun, not, i'll be the last to move, so i guess i have to shut the lights out this time, hopefully next friday?? hope everyone has a great weekend, i'll be back in a little, gonna heat up some wings for dinner!!

Because of the dreary day, you don't get a good view of the rims in my other post. Here's a better pic of what they look like.

Not to be confused with the better looking Nascar style rims.

I think the standard steelie winter rims look like a$$ on any car. But that's just my opinion.

Taz

Your car could be on cinderblocks and still look fantastic. Don't sweat it.

Thanks Mike.

But Chris was talking about what they would look like on HIS car. I'm saying it would look like he had four spare tires on his car. Not the cool look of the Nascar rims.

Taz, I love your Monte...but I agree, those Steelies look like crap. LOL. And the Wal-Mart hub caps. Blah. But just think, you are saving your Dale wheels, so that in the nice weather, your car can look badass as usual.

Mike is right though, even with the plastic hub caps, I can look past the wheels and see one kick *** Monte Carlo!
