Hi all! Boy is it hot here! I'm not ready for this weather - who knows when the AC in my house will be turned on. It's like 85 degrees upstairs and it's only 11:20am. I'm getting ready to go to a car show at a Culvers - I'll be inside watching the hawks game and keeping cool!

well, the monte is offically back togeather and now it'll actually pull a hill, feels like i gained 10 HP too plus it has a nice lil rumble at idle.

although im kinda pissed 'caus the guy with the dakota called and said he would like to fix it and keep it a bit longer as an extra vehicle.... and i was all excited because we had just found out the fuel pump would only run $75. oh well, he said he would give us a ring or stop by if he decides to sell, but for now back to looking around.

right now me & my dad are washing the black monte. gonna see if we can get some of the stink outta it too. that might go up for sale soon, he's gonna list it for $1200 obo.... my guess is it wont sell, so i'll probibly wind up with it

brock, bring a cooler with lots of water / beverages, and i would suggest buying some sub sandwiches before the show, 'caus it seems like lately the carshow food has been expensive and has sucked. bring a couple of folding chairs, and try to bring a large umbrella or canopy for shade, being stuck on the blacktop for 6 hours in the sun is no fun at all. also bring a box of detailing supplies like armor all, tire shine, wheel cleaner, ect for if you get bored. and if there is a swap meet bring some cash, lol. enjoy yourself

i would take a video but i dont have a video camara. my olympus can take great pics but eather lacks a microphone or i have no idea how to turn it on, lol.

and JJ, i would offer the car up to you but its not really worth your trouble. it has quite a bit of dumb little things wrong with it and i doubt you really need a project car.
