I live in a part of town known locally as windsor's little italy. I'm not italian. But I get reminded everytime there is a soccer game involving italy. Lots of flags and cars driving up and down the streets honking their horns.
I love it when small towns are festive like that.
To me, it gets me in a great mood when i see that.
It's the pride and the love for the country and sport you represent.
Even though my El Salvador didn't qualify i'm still watching, its so exciting, it comes only every four years.
I root for the US, mainly but i would also like for the less known African teams to advance.
As the hosts, they are under pressure.

senior citizens from all around our planet, and
they have helped & taught me about so many cultures.
It's like a small United Nations : )

I always thought it would be funny to get a bunch of friends dress up like pirates with plastic swords and eyepatches, and drive around honking and carrying on with the Skull & Crossbones flag flying. Just during the world cup. Just to fit in. Arr!

Tuned in for the last second of the serbia-ghana game. You guys made me want to watch it all day lol.

Great game it was. It just finished and it was awesome, Ghana came out gunning and was the better team. They almost made it 2 - 0 at the end.
