On a side note it has been snowing lightly all day. The ground is covered with about an inch. Hoping more comes so I can take the suburban out. Going to go sledding with my nephews today or tomorrow so I will get some snow pics soon.

It's still cold and dry around here. So far this winter I've only had to shovel once. And it was only about an inch of snow. I'm really enjoying not having to shovel snow. But I know that it is coming. And we'll probably have snow clear into april.

Figures. Last two years had lots of snow, and I didn't have any snow tires. This year I put the snow tires on at the end of october. And so far only had an inch of snow.

Oooo Ryan I am SOOOO jealoussss!!! Now I gotta go buy a pair of ventshades myself!! I've always wanted to buy some but right now it is too FREAKIN COLD here in pittsburgh to put them on! I'm talking what, not even hovering above 30 and my sidewalk is a skating rink!! My friend asks me this morning "hey does table salt have the same reaction to ice as rock salt does?" I of course told her I really didn't know but I'm willing to bet the farm that it doesnt. So she says to me "well at least my sidewalk is well seasoned!!" I think I'm gonna either grab her and her hubs up and her little brother too and try to go see sherlock holmes. I want to see that movie tonight with a fiend you can only imagine. I love me some sherlock holmes!! Maybe go to the kings on rt 30 in north versailles and then hit up the destinta theater.... not as crowded!! Im trying to pull pics off my camera of my kasey kahne gear in my Monte... will post some laters. Hope everyone has a great sunday, especially Amy... I hear Illinois got DUMPED on and it's heading this way!!!

Hi all! Hope all of you are having a GREAT Sunday!
WOW! THREE Ryans on here today (altho I believe 1 is spelled Rian, right?).
Ryan from Iran, I hope you time back here has been everything you hade hoped for, and then some! We are PROUD of you. We are proud of all of our members that serve to protect us!
Ryan Skylark, got called on your pic's! NICE! I've had them on several cars, just not on the Montes. They ARE nice! Keep the pic's coming!
So SilverB', did you go to the Sherlock Holmes movie? How was it? Movies out just aren't in the budget right now for us.
Tim, I can also appreciate how hard it is to home school. I had my kids in private school for several years, and know others that have home schooled, and a family of 4 girls that is being home schooled right now! It is TOUGH, but Todd will agree with me on this, that budgets just do not allow the quality contact that is even close to what home schooling is. The family I know, like I said, has 4 girls. That's a 1:4 ratio. What are public schools, 1:35 or so?
Todd, I'm not knocking you at ALL. Teaching remedial studies is VERY hard. Most of the students could care less about being there. Grand Rapids Central H.S. has a 35% GRADUATION rate! I commend you for your desire to teach middle school students. I also commend you for your dedication to this forum. You are a HUGE asset to us here.
Taz, it just doesn't quit snowing here. We've got probably 6" on the ground now, with 3" fresh. It hasn't stopped snowing since............I can't remember. LAKE EFFECT!!!!!
Easily 3 ft of snow so far. Snow's been on the ground for a month now. Snows some almost daily.

Hope everyone has a GREAT afternoon!
Later1

thanks for the compliments, everyone

robyn, i stumbeled on the seat covers in K mart, of all places. matt has the same ones in his car, thats why i bought 'em when i found em, caus they DO look sweet in a red monte i've never seen 'em for sale anywhere else around here, but they had 'em on clearance for $13.99 each! lol, so they had to come home and the ventshades came from advanced. or autozone. our local store changes names way too often to remember, but they were like $40 when i ordered em
