Hi all! I've been busy sprucing Silver up. I painted the core support bars and today I sanded down the engine cover and I'm going to paint that shortly. We ordered the kit to send the radio off to get the bulbs replaced. I'm hoping by the fall Silver will be done with his makeover LOL!!!!! Still waiting on fixing the inside door seams from the rust bubbling - I bought the rust encapsulator paint, now we just need to find time to do it.

i cant beleive your '05 has any rust amy. even just a few lil bubles. 5th & 6th gen montes dont seem to rust out from what i've seen, unless the car is really abused.

Because of all the salt they use on the roads, it seems pretty common for the doors to rust out - if you don't catch it in time. It's mainly on the passengers side - don't know if it's a quality issue when the doors were sprayed/assembled at the factory or what. But when I was shopping for the 05 a year and a half ago - every single one of them I looked at had some degree of bubbling on the inside passengers side door seam.
