well, I got my new STB installed. This one (GMPP one) is way better than the ZZP STB, at least for use on the 06-07's. Its clears the alternator with room to spare, and still clears the hood! I'm happy with it, and I think it did make a difference.

Chris I am wishing you and especially your mom a speedy recovery. Giver a hug for me and tell it is from Todd in Oregon.

Well today would have to be classified as a productive day. Got the gravel pile moved into the shop and smoothed. I still need another load, but the boat is now in out of the rain sitting on a fresh bed of gravel. Finished the horse/hay shed/barn. It still needs trim boards, handle on the door, and painted but it is up and that is all I cared about for the moment. Oh and I did drive the suburban. I ended up pulling 3 of the four bolts out of the bracket and bending it to fit. It seems to be shifting great so I will keep an eye on it to make sure it is ok. The bracket only has one bolt so I will check it periodically to make sure it still is good. Someday I will make a new bracket. Works great for now and towed the boat just fine. I will drive it some more this weekend and see what it does.

Hope everyone has had a good day as well. I am beat now and off to take a much needed shower.
