Hope the daughter is ok!!
And the cruise was fun, got a few stares and kids telling me to do burnouts but Im a week away from being 18 and I get my full license, no way Im screwing that up !!!!
The rain had really just closed bridges, nothing too drastic because its very hilly around here so it all just runs to maple creek.

With some Nebraska streams already overflowing and others running near bankful, forecasters said heavy rains and more flooding are possible through the weekend. A Black Monte Carlo was spotted driving around crazy into several flooded area's : ) THere's a APB out and the law is look'in 4 the Monte Carlo : )
The National Weather Service said there was a chance of severe thunderstorms late Thursday night over parts of central and eastern Nebraska, with repeats Friday into Saturday and again Sunday night and Monday.
The weather service said "a very moisture-rich and unstable environment" existed over eastern Nebraska late Thursday afternoon. Another round of thunderstorms was expected to develop over western Nebraska, then move into eastern Nebraska after midnight Thursday. Heavy rains could cause already-swollen streams and water in low-lying areas to rise quickly and create flooding, the weather service said.
A tornado watch was posted for 15 south-central Nebraska counties Thursday night.
After a respite Sunday, storms are predicted to return Sunday night.
The Platte River near Ashland was running near bankful, but no flood advisory had been issued. Lincoln got .23 of an inch in a mid-Thursday morning drenching, bringing its June rainfall total to 3.3 inches, more than twice the month-to-date average.
Flood warnings continued late Thursday afternoon in all or parts of Colfax, Dodge, Platte, Cuming, Madison and Stanton counties in northeast Nebraska. Flood warnings also continued for Beaver Creek and the Loup River near Genoa, in Nance County, and the Cedar River near Fullerton, also in Nance County.
In the northeast, Maple Creek at Nickerson, Pebble Creek near Scribner and Union Creek at Madison were running full or out of their banks. The junction of U.S. 275 and Nebraska 91 three miles northwest of Scribner was reported under water at 4 p.m. Thursday.
Rain totals overnight and early Thursday included 2.45 inches at Genoa; 3 inches in an hour at Lindsay; 2.7 inches at Fullerton; 2.45 inches at Greeley; 1.5 inches in 30 minutes at Howells; and 1.5 inches in 15 minutes at Bellwood.
Earlier Thursday, Nebraska 15 was closed where it meets Nebraska 32 in Stanton County and U.S. 275 between West Point and Snyder had water over the road.
Shell Creek near Lindsay and Platte Center was reported out of its banks, closing the junction of Nebraska 45 and 91.
Further west, minor flooding was occurring in several counties following overnight and morning downpours. Atkinson reported 4 inches of rain with minor flooding in town and outlying areas. Elsmere reported more than 3 inches of rain, with Goose Creek running across the highway east of town.
