Good Morning Everyone!!!

Here we go, yet another Monday. So far not a bad day here. I went and did all my homework yesterday, and I could not finish the last two questions of my geology homework. There is no book, or material to read, we are supposed to answer these questions based on information we can find online, in books etc. Well, I looked for about an hour and a half for one freakin answer, and then just gave up on in...So maybe this morning if things are slow at work, i'll give it another shot so that assignment is totally complete. I absolutley hate not having homework totally complete. But i'm just at a loss of what to put.

Anyway, thats about it for me...i'm just waiting on the coffee to finish!

Have a good day everyone!!!

Ok...I'm at a total loss on this question, so i'm going to ask for your help if anyone knows! Thanks in advanced if you can help, I appreciate it more than you can imagine...

Here goes:

In terms of land use (grazing land, crop land, hot desert, forest, etc.) Why does central North America show such a sharp north-south boundary in 1700?

How did this line affect later land-use changes?

Using this map as a visual:

Thanks guys, if you have even an idea, PLEASE let me know!

Because we didn't get to America yet to overpopulate and destroy it?

Good morning everyone. Came into work late today, was just too tired after Yom Kippur services last night to even think about coming in on time. And it's a day of fasting until dinner... ugh

Hope everyone had a good weekend

Here's to another week (hopefully a fast one!)

Thats sorta what I am going with...

I wrote something about the colonist only populating the west southern part of North America at the time, therefore the had to make the land livable by having cattle, etc. to live off of. This is why there is a heavy area of grazing land in this area. Then to answer the second part I said something about more land being discovered, and colonies migrating to the new land and turning it into usable/ livable land...Whatever, unless I can come up with a better answer by 1:30 when this class starts, that what i'm turning in...Stupid 1 unit Geology lab causes me more headace then my business classes...I hate GE...LOL

Is it possible also that its due to the Industrial age? bring in more people West and using natural resources?

Who knows, that might shed some light into another direction for you Michael.

If not, what the hell do i know. LOL
