Good Morning Everyone!

Its Monday......

I had a great weekend! Saturday was watching the munchkin all day, but she was great. Then yesterday, my cousin, her husband, the baby, and my GF and I all went to the beach. It was a PERFECT day. It was in the upper 60's, and sunny. Made it great sitting on the beach, not to hot, not to cold.

Hope everyone has a great day!

ChibiBlackSheep 05-17-2010 08:51 AM

Good morning everyone. Had a nice relaxing trip up to the Poconos. Can't believe my nephew is already 2!!

Also was able to put my tinted reverse light housings on the Monte, I'll throw a small thread up soon for those pictures :)

Space 05-17-2010 10:49 AM

Hi Mod's `Michael & `Mike,
It's good 2 read that you both had a good weekend
4-Sure...Hope this week is a good one for you & member's 2.

I must confess, I sinned 2day
I just took one of the senior's for his doctor's appointment
in his 2010 Ford Fusion `Sport AWD.
On the way he said to blow the carbon `out & I gladly
complied : )
It's a V6 with a six speed auto & I must say it's
a decent package...It has every option & was under
$30 K...It's a great family mid size sedan.
It's not my type of car, but it would be a great
road cruiser....
I was impressed with the quality of the fit & finish,
and materials....Ford did a good `job on this one.
The V6 pulled strong, and I think it's around
250 HP +
He's MPG average is about 25 MPG (his words : )
His was a nice `blue...I enjoyed the experience,
but I'm still a GM person : )
"Please 4give me 4 I have sinned" :eek::D

ChibiBlackSheep 05-17-2010 11:02 AM

It's okay space, if you want to see a sin, my brother-in-law just bought my sister a Celica GT:

And it's going to be her "toy, fun car" and she's keeping the 04 Impala SS as her "boring daily driver" :(:(

MAMONTE 05-17-2010 11:02 AM

LOL, Space. You can't knock 250 HP. LOL I admit, those Fusions are pretty nice. But I prefer the direct competitor, the Chevy Malibu! :)

Blazed SS 05-17-2010 11:03 AM

Sinner !! say 5 Monte Carlos and think about what you have done !! LOL
hi all just checking in all i had a great weekend it was my wife's b-day and my best Friends Dave's b-day so it was lots of fun went golfing with Dave and went to dinner and dancing with the Little lady

The Popcorn King 05-17-2010 11:13 AM

Morning Everyone!!

I cant believe that the weekend is over.

I don't have much to do today. Just take Lisa to the Dr for an exam. Jonny is starting to develop a little cough, so we are going to see about catching it early.

Mike, glad you had a great time man. I heard there was bad weather in PA Firiday.

Todd, sux that you didn't get any fishing time in. But at least you got out of the house. Always a good thing.

Michael, sounds like you had a blast getting your feet wet.

Space, no worries about the Fusion. I'm driving a rented Corolla. I think the only way someone can get to leave GM is if it came with an optional Popcorn Maker with an Extra Butter setting. LOL

 `Mike, I like the Toy Celica G.T. & they sure hold their value.. They are in demand by the Ricer's 4-Sure.
I looked @ one b-4 I got my Honda Del Sol.
They handle great, and run decent with their reliable 4 banger... Wish your sister lots of fun with it and safe & happy miles...She's fortunate to have 2 rides....Now, it's your turn : )
________________________________________

Thanks `Michael for understanding  I really did enjoy
driving it, and the power surprised me...
He told me I can use it any time I want, but I don't like
driving other peoples cars...: (

`Keith, I already said 10 Monte Carlo's, but I guess I need to
say a few more : ) I mentioned Toy & Honda in this post : )
Great 2 read that you had a SuperWeekEnd, sounds like fun.

Mod J.J., great 2 C U online & we hope U R feeling better..
Do your drugs help your pain :eek::D:rolleyes: WoW, what `pain ? LOL
How's your foot healing ? Wish U a fast recovery...
A Toyota is better then no ride @ `all.
There are many of them in Florida, and they just keep on going.....
Wish you and reader's of this a Happy Day
EnJoy

Chris, have you browsed around TireRack.com? They even have a feature that will allow you to see what the rims look like on a Monte.

monte carlo 3831 05-17-2010 02:09 PM

Taz, yes I looked lastnight at a ton of places, thanks

I don't care if they are exactly the same to what I have, atleast they won't look bad close-up.

Blazed SS 05-17-2010 02:11 PM

what size are you looking for ?

ChibiBlackSheep 05-17-2010 02:13 PM

I know a lot of times people are parting out their stock Monte SS rims, or Impala SS rims (06+) maybe you can pick up those?

The stockers are just so nice.

monte carlo 3831 05-17-2010 02:17 PM

I'm not a big fan for the 06-07 stock wheels! I'm looking for 17's.

Blazed SS 05-17-2010 02:23 PM

how much you looking to spend ? on the rims

monte carlo 3831 05-17-2010 02:28 PM

I'd like to say $600-800????

also, no offense to the people with stock 06 monte wheels! I just like the ones I currently have but can't seem to find the correct size for my car at the moment:(

Blazed SS 05-17-2010 02:33 PM

same color you have now ? or all black or mix chrome / black ?

Blazed SS 05-17-2010 02:37 PM

I was looking at these for mine amd I thik they look good on your car http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/MiniW...d=true&sw=1280
i did not get them though because i found stock ss rims that were 17" and in great shape

monte carlo 3831 05-17-2010 02:39 PM

Blazed SS 05-17-2010 02:41 PM
