Good Morning Everyone!
I was definitely not to thrilled to wake up at 4:30am this morning. I could totally use a few more hours of sleep! :P
I had a fantastic weekend though! So remember the surprise that I was getting Friday from my GF for my Birthday!?!?! AWESOME! After work my cousin said she needed to "borrow" my car, so she said she would just drop me off at my GF's. So we go over there, and my GF gets in the car too. After some driving, we ended up at the airport. My GF planned a trip to Portland, OR for the weekend. Why!? Because my FAVORITE band was playing there, and they had no shows in our area. So Saturday evening after kicking around Portland for the day, we went to the Nickelback concert. It was freakin awesome. Shinedown, and Breaking Benjamin opened for Nickelback, so that was pretty cool too since I like Shinedown too.
Then we flew back EARLY yesterday morning, and I spent the rest of Sunday with my family, and had a BBQ for mothers day!

Michael, sounds like you got a keeper for a girlfriend. Glad you had fun up in Portland.

The good bands are supposed to come AFTER the crappy band!!!
Also I remember back when Breaking Benjamin used to perform in small bars before they were popular, it's nice to see a band from my old area doing so great

Morning all, back to the old grind I guess.... gotta be better then the weekend. My mom's dog got bit by a snake on Friday night, trip to the vet ER, a dose of anti-venom and $2000 later she seems no worse for the experience.... my bank account on the other hand. Guess that's the cost of pet ownership, makes pet insurance look like a better idea than it did before! Second dog in 7 years to get bit, need to find mom a high rise apartment to live in and move her out of the freaking woods!
On the upside I had an interview last week and have another one this week, hoping to get away from this asylum and into a different one, wish me luck!
