I'm back in Philly and back to work. Looks like Wednesday may be a snow day for me!!! Getting hit with ANOTHER storm

Gotta get through some posts, emails, and coffeeeeeee.... brb

 

I just took a New Testament Greek test.... the vocabulary part was pretty rough... I think I translated my verses pretty well though and probably didn't do too bad with the questions. It felt like a good 75-85 test! I've got a quiz coming up in US History 2. Oh the joy of overloading hours in college!

Here is an 1/8th mile run for my Monte Carlo.... 9.873 at 73.99 mph. Air filter and headlight removed, front tire psi at 28, rear tire psi at 50, all junk including spare tire removed, muffler delete (at time), dyno tuned by Carolina Auto Masters!

Yeah 'Space... I came back last night! I usually go home on Friday afternoon after my US History 1 class lets out at 2:00 and come back Sunday night around 9-10:00 p.m. The trip was good.. clear roads and good weather, I'm starting to forget what that feels like to be honest.

Mornin all... had a fun drive to work... about 3in on the ground snow is supost to continue throught wed. up to 14in by then so they say... after work i'll be switching out tires so MAYBE i'll have

 

some traction... this whole starting in 4th and still spining the tire just isn't cutting it...

Good morning all!
Well, i am off work for the next two weeks, laid off today due to all of the snow we got.
My sister went out to work yesterday sadly, so we had to pick her up. I took out my mom's 06 auto corolla and man it did good! we had a hard time getting out because our street didn't get plowed enough and all of the snow turned into hard ice. i live on a one way street that goes up hill so imagine how crazy that was! but i put it on 2 and slowly but surely made it out of the street and hit the primary roads which were like crap to be honest. Half way through the trip we were stopped by police because two 18 wheelers were stuck up a hill, so we had to turn around and get on the high, which turned a 30 minute drive to pick up my sister to a 1 1/2 hour drive! just to get to her.
But we made it safely and i am surprised how well it did. Just as good as my Monte the last blizzard in december. As a bonus she hooked me up with the water pump!! yay! so now i have to find a cheap place to have it installed. Hope you guys have a great week! gonna go look around the forum. ^.^

yep, I'm here, took the dayoff today because I have to pick my mom up from the hospital! watching the news and they are calling for 8-10 more iinches of snow tues-wed! my back is killing me. the national guard is currently assisting with some of the issues here in pittsbugh the next few days, I wonder if they shovel snow there are 67,000 people here without power in the area, sure hope it gets restored soon for those without! I can honestly say I have never seen this much snow! hope everyone had a great weekend, gotta go soon, see ya
