Good Morning!
This weekend flew, I have no idea where it went. All I know is Monday morning snuck up on me way to fast. LOL. But I had a good weekend, party every night, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Morning All.
Our daughter is back from college. That means I need to spend some time wrenching on her old car ('73 Mercedes 220). It has a simple inline 4 engine. The carburetor needs frequent cleaning / lubing. Luckily it came equipped with a block heater, so it starts pretty well in the morning. Never thought that would be a big deal in Alabama, but we've had freezing temp's nearly every morning for weeks now.
My old car decided to play a trick on me... The driver's side outer door handle stopped working. I got the door panel off and it looks like the connecting bracket from handle to opening mechanism is gone. I assume it's broken. Couldn't see very well without further disassembling the door. Unfortunately that may be a job for my mechanic. Crap...
On a good note, my wife's Monte is running great. I still can't believe how much more power it has, especially on hills, since I replaced the stock downpipe / Cat with the ZZ Performance downpipe w/high flow Cat. Wish I'd done that years ago. Further exhaust upgrades on the Monte have been sidelined due to Christmas expenses and repairs / preventive maintenance on the old cars. All good things in time, right?

I had a long weekend. My g/fs dad walked out on her family last night. He's upset because he and his wife (g/fs mom) have been arguing a lot lately. Not only that, he called a couple of hours after leaving to tell his wife that he's at the inn down the road if she wanted to come see him. She got there and he wasn't there... don't torture your family like that.
