Soooo I find out my dad is trying to be a cheapazz and not install any carpet in the house they just bought. Well yanno what, that house is going to be frrrrzin cold and I'm not gonna have it. So even though I have the threat of getting FIRED really pdq here over my head, I'm going to be GENEROUS and get some quotes to install carpeting.

hello, everyone. boring day here today, trying to get the paint work finished. thought it was done, but my dad for some reason cannot for the life of him paint a house.... cars, he's fantastic, be it masking, laying an even coat, not getting runs or thin spots... but his job masking & painting the edges of the wall turned out pretty godawfull, i hate to say. i just spent about 2 hours going over thin spots & re-doing the edges, and go to pull the masking off of the celing.... and the top of the wall looks about as wavy as they get. so now i get to re-mask the wall & paint some more. i sure hope the rest of the masking work is not as bad as the celing.

not much else other than that. hey, did anyone else see this appear on the homepage?

right in pittsburg. sure looks like it could use quite a bit of TLC, but the price is right for a donor car, or a winter car & then a donor car

Hey guys!

Well on Saturday my dad and I went up to Bullock and helped a guy out restoring a 74 Fard F-100. They are rebuilding their engine, so we were helping them out. My dad put new valve stem seals in while I helped the son clean some parts and used a buffing wheel to get everything ready for new gaskets. We have the engine block on a stand ready to be rebuild. Everything is ready to go, another 2-3 hours and that engine should be built!

Today I got to work on my Torino, putting in new sway bar and strut bar bushings. The sway bar went up perfectly fine, but the strut bars are giving me a FIT!! I'm still not finished!!!

And speaking of painting, I'm hoping to get the hood painted tomorrow. I may get the front fenders done Wednesday.

Being a college student with a long winter break and a project car has its advantages

Buds, the ornaments and box (?) are GREAT!!! That's JJ's work, isn't it? How's he doing?
Duane, glad to hear your break is busy restoring, saving the classic iron from Detroit.
Ryan, sorry the painting isnt GREAT, but I hope it's about done.

We need to keep an eye on the member count. It's REAL close to 7,000! (I hope #7,000 isn't another spammer!) ASSUMING #7,000 is legit', we'll have to throw him (OR her) a HUGE member #7,000 party!!!
