..Hey`Space, don't you think they should get their planet in order before they blast `off into `Space & mess things `up...They are already leaving their burned `out junk up there floating around in `space. Just look what they are doing to their own planet....I think they should take care of their own home first, before they enter outer space planet's and mess it `up 2 : (. We just came here to get the awesome Monte Carlo's for our space fleet.
Yes E.T.,I agree. They first must learn to "Live in Peace on Planet `Earth"...Let us pray/hope b-4 it's all blows `up or we take away their gravity & they all fall `off : ) WoW...

Good Morning Everyone!

Man-O-Man Monday morning sure came around pretty freakin quick! I could have used another day off. LOL :P But i'm here at work, just waiting on my coffee to finish up!

Had a pretty decent weekend, Saturday I spent sometime with my GF, then Sunday worked on the Solora with my Dad. We did all the brakes, and replaced the fuel and air filter. No luck on anything. The brakes still don't work well, and the check engine light came back on. We are pretty sure that its the Oxygen sensor now causing it to run lean, and as far as the brakes, we are pretty sure its the brake booster needs to be replaced.

Have a good day everyone!

Good Monday Morning to ya!

Happy Birthday Zipper!

Michael, sorry to hear the Solara is being such a pain. A couple days ago my check engine light came on. But my problem is the gas cap isn't tightening properly. I'm assuming that was the first thing you checked on the Solara. Hopefully you guys get it figured out, and have a little bit of fun just spending some time working on your car with your dad.

Oh yea its a new gas cap. Its throwing a code P0171 bank 1 to lean....So far we've cleaned the MAF, replaced the air filter, and fule filter. Next is the oxygen sensor, which after using a meter, is showing to possibly be bad. So let hope that fixes it. We have one more week to get it re-smogged, and hope it passes this time, otherwise we will end up paying another $70 to have it smogged again.

And I can't believe I forgot to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY Zipper! I hope you have a great day!

What an interesting diagnosis... I wonder who might have mentioned that...

LOL, I know. We were avoiding it this whole time because its so F'ing expensive, so we tried all the cheap stuff first. The Haynes manual had all kinds of things listed as possible reasons. Oxygen sensor being the last thing. But I already knew that from someone else

Guess how much an oxygen sensor for that freakin car is....try $194.00!!! I think the one for my mom's Bonneville was like $39.99

X2 on that. I have the next two days off, and it's currently raining. Forecast calls for rain all through my days off.

And I wanted to get a fresh coat of wax on the Monte too. Stupid rain gettin my car wet. :p
