Morning everyone.

Pretty excited - Just ordered a ZZP downpipe w/Cat yesterday. Should be able to install it next weekend. Have any of you installed their downpipe on your Monte? If so, anything I should know before crawling under to do the work? Looks like it should be straightforward, but I've thought that before and been burned.

After that comes new front brake pads and freshly turned rotors. Then replacing the stock mufflers with Magnaflows; keeping the stock resonator for now. I'll probably have all the pipe from resonator back upgraded to 2.25" while I'm at it. I'm anxious to get the Magnaflows installed, but really need to do the brakes first.

Hmmm... I better check. I thought it was 2". Would be great if it's already 2.25"! I'm planning to do some modest power improvements over time, but nothing that would really require much larger for the exhaust.

Halloween for me is over. I had the biggest yard display this year in my town. I had to top last years. The bad part is finding a place to put it all when its all taken down. Its funny how it takes 3 months to set up and only 2 days to take it all down. My shop is full but I plan to build a new shed. But first I gotta tear down a barn to get the material.
I try to keep busy and that sometimes keeps me from getting on this forum. I check out others posts and by the time I go to post one myself im strapped for time n gotta go. I will be real busy come May. I found out we have twins on the way. My family of four will turn into a family of six. I think I need to stretch the Monte n add 2 more seats. Befor finding out about the twins I redone my Astro van. Im not sure if I ever mentioned my van befor but I built it as a four seater with a sbc 350 under the hood. My ol lady is scarred to death of it so it just sits anyway. She aint affraid of all the skulls, its the (rear steering) she is scarred of.

6th gen was also 2.25 exhaust. I went with the 2.5 SLP cat back for the replacement system on my 05.
