Sounds like something I wanta do!!! Where did you go at midnight in your Monte? Did you spot any other Montes? If gas prices weren't close to $3/gal. here I'd go for a cruise tonite - but then I might run into careless New Year's Eve non-Monte drivers so I guess I'll stay home. Happy New Year everybody!
ok, call me stupid, but what does this symbol mean —
I was reading about FEMA earlier about the residents of LA being forced out of their FEMA trailers and facing possible fines! here is part of the article/headline from YAHOO
NEW ORLEANS – The era of the FEMA trailer - a symbol of the prolonged rebuilding from Hurricane Katrina — might be drawing to a close in New Orleans.
Citing the remaining 221 trailers as blight, New Orleans officials have told the last remaining residents to be out by the start of 2011 or face steep fines.
New Orleans once had more than 23,000 FEMA trailers, and for many people still living in them, they are akin to permanent homes. These residents say they will find it hard to make the city's deadline.
Edwin Weber Jr., 62, lives with his brother in a trailer crammed with stuff. He was seething at a "notice of violation" letter taped to his door shortly before Christmas.
The letter said he would be fined — up to $500 a day — unless he took "immediate action" to move out. He said the notice was "worthy of Ebenezer Scrooge himself."

OK, thanks for the input, I just figured I was missing something, also only had 3 beers so not that bad off yet...
Hey guys. Just finished watching Friday Night Smackdown. No, I'm not just saying that because of Amy's post. We don't get the SyFy channel here, so it's re-broadcast on a cable sports channel. Amy, I've never understood why SyFy broadcasts a weekly wrestling show. Doesn't seem very science-fiction to me.
Justin, you got a great find with the fender and mounting bracket. No need to paint the fender to match. I would throw a couple quick shots of black rust paint where you bolted the new mounting bracket on. To keep it from rusting through again. What's wrong with your hood? Looks like it just needs a little massaging to fit the lines a bit better. Something I'm not seeing?
