Space, I do have the power to fire. But before I jump to any conclusions, I want to A) make sure he is ok, and B) here his side of the story. I am, and always have been a pretty fair manager, so i'm not going to make any decisions without talking to him. Plus on another hand, i'm a bit worried about him, I hope something didn't happen.

I like the new MOTM upgrades to my picture Space! Thanks!

They said it was a common problem in the Monte and Impala since 2000, and its never been fixed. The mechanic told me that usually just some grease will fix it, and he thinks that probably would have solved the problem for me too. But he said since I was still under warranty, he just said the old one needed a complete replacement. So i'm not arguing with that, new parts are always welcome! LOL And I have no idea how much it would have cost if it was not covered under warranty.

They also inspected the entire car for issues, just so they could fix them under warranty, but that was all they could find.

I'm about to grease my ISS and my Dad's when the weather gets a little nicer.

It really IS an annoying problem.. but luckily the grease keeps me going for like a year.

Yea, next time I will try greasing it before taking it in. But since it was under warranty, I figured why not just take it in...Worked for me that they just replaced it completely!

True true! If my Dad's was still under warranty it would be in. But it's not! So we do the greasing for now.

So I take it a month ago when you asked me how to grease it, you never actually went ahead and did that? :P

GLAD TO SEE YOU WASTED MY TIME!!!!! j/k

My Dad wants to look / learn while I do it for his car... though I know I'm going to be the one doing it for him each time.

He'll also be one to waste my time :P

Well guess who decided to stroll into the office! So my first reaction was to go off like a bomb, and rip him a new one. But I thought to myself...wait, listen Michael, listen. Well I listened, and then ripped him a new one. He fell asleep in his car on the other side of the parking lot, and turned the ringer on Vibrate on his phone, so he didnt here it. LAME excuse, especially when we've had the conversation before. I have told him more than once that the company cell phone is to be turned on, and on max ringer so he can always hear it! Someone is getting written up today! AGH, sometimes I hate being the boss.

At least he is ok...at least until I get done with him. hahaha. JK
