I'm with you. I'm turning all the lights on in my house for a full 24 hours. I wanna leave a big carbon footprint on the Earth today for her birthday.

GP `Dave & Members,
You & member's may post in `jest or humor, as I have
on many occassions, but I've seen the harm that
our planet `Earth is enduring from abuse from humans
The Atlantic Ocean is sure not the same as it was
21 years ago...The sea life is changing, the water is no
longer pure & clean Many thrash the beach,
& seem to have lost respect for our planet.
It's very sad to me...
If we as humans or aliens visitor's don't change,
Planet Earth ? it will, and I'm afraid...not 4 the better : (

I want a better Planet, a better World for
Mia `Joy, & my future children
4-Sure....Don't You ?

I think if the earth didn't like us, it would have purged us by now. If the government wants to call the air I exhale and the same air trees and plants need for photosynthesis a polutant, then their science is fraudulent and they don't have my support.

The earth movement is just a way for government to take control of the air I breath. Once they control the air, they control the people. It is all a big political power play.

Yes, I love my planet, but regulating the air I breath, the food I eat, the car I drive, the lightbulbs I use or anything else down those lines is not the way to get my attention.

Anything done properly has to be done of our own free will educating with solid facts and not a pseudo-science that evokes emotions. Just my thoughts.

Question ? ? ? ? Why ? ? ? Don't more People Care ?

GP `Dave, thank your 4 your post/opinions/thoughts.
"A government of, & for the people"

I am not say'in what our Government is going to `do,
but what each person is going to do 2 make it better
for `all.
I don't think the Government should have to control the people,
but the people should be able to control themselves ?

(April 22) -- Blue seas, marbled terrain, swirling white clouds. In celebration of Earth Day Wednesday, NASA reached deep into its archives for stunning images of the planet that we call home. One photo offers a dire reminder: Global warming could change the Earth as we know it. See the photos below, and find out 10 things you may not know about the third rock from the sun. Further down, see the planet's frightening forecast over the next few years, decades and beyond.
