Just doing a load of laundry. I have an interview with another agency Friday. Bad thing is that the office is located downtown. Not a big fan of driving to downtown Chicago. And the price of parking yikes!!! I have to do what I gotta do.

i woke up this morning siiiiiiick. blah. i feel like my throat is about to clamp shut. my head hurts, sinuses are all stuffy and burning...so yeah generally feel pretty crappy today. i told my boss (who is basking in the warm california sunshine mind you) that i am going home early. i am just waiting on his brother to get here in a few hours because he doesn't have a key. soon as he gets here i am going home and laying down.

also it is raining like mad here today, and when i came out of the house this morning i found that there was tree snot all over my poor baby:





i didn't end up making it to the end of the yankees/sox game last night, i was so tired and my head hurt so i went to bed around 12 ish. when i woke up i almost went right back to sleep but i knew i couldn't.

last night when i went to subway to grab a sandwich, the guy that works there remembered me from last time i was there (when he asked me if the "20" on my car makes it go faster and i told him no but the horses under the hood do). he said he had seen me on the highway a couple days after he first saw me in the store. he said i was definitely using all the horses i was talking about. LOL. as i was getting my drink i turned to him and asked him if i was really going that fast? (because i don't usually go crazy on the highway. i usually keep it around 70-75.) he said well, i saw you one second and then you were GONE. i told him it coulda been the other girl with the same car as me and he said no it was definitely you i saw your face as you went by.

i totally almost got a speeding ticket yesterday! i was on my way from work to Target and there are 2 different exits i could have taken, i almost took the further one because it's a little closer, but i decided to take the closer one (to me on the highway) because going that way you don't have to double back on the main road. anyway as i decided to take the closer exit, i was going about 80 (ok ok i know what i just said, but i just wanted to get there and home) and as i was slowing down to take the exit, there was a state trooper sitting about 50 yards past the exit on the grass doing radar. whoooo was i lucky to decide on that exit. i've never seen a cop there in my life.

oh and i saw this funny lookin' car yesterday too on the way home from target.
