Default Max, our cat just passed on

We were getting around this morning to head to NE Ohio for a Solstice/Sky run this weekend, and to get ExplosiveSoundz his car, as I picked it up for him this week after major repairs here in MI. Max, our cat, started having
breathing problems. I think he had a hairball and didn't have enough
strength to cough it up. He passed on with both of us there to comfort him.
He's had several strokes, and was only about 4 ponds. He's been LadyT's cat
since a kitten, 15 years ago, and we've been together 12 years. This has
been a TOUGH morning, but I thank The Lord Jesus that he took him
peacefully, and while we were still here, and not finding him Sunday when we
got home, dead and stinking up the place. THANK YOU JESUS for taking our Max
while we were here to take care of him! Picture is of Max and Frankie. Max
is on the left.
We will miss him (weeping).

Sorry to hear, pets become part of our families, and part of our lives.

Try to think about this, you gave him 15 great years.

I am very sorry to hear you lost a member of your family. It's never easy when this happens.

My cat Chelsea (who's setting on me right now) is 19 years old in april. She moved in when she was a few months old. someone had dumped her off at our house like people like to do. She is just one of a few people dumped here.

It isn't going to be easy to loose her when it comes to be her time to go.

I'm not a cat person but if anyone ever hurt Chelsea they can expect the same from me. There's no reason to injure an animal inmy book. Let alone just dump one cause you don't want it anymore.

If you have a pet and offspring are unwanted, do the right thing and have the pet fixed. All of ours are.

I'm so very sorry Wayne. It makes my heart hurt to hear that.

I lost my Max a couple of yeas ago. He was 16, he just up and disappeared. Have know idea if he just went off to die or if something horrific like a coyote got him. I have two others that are about 16 now, that I worry about daily. It's so hard to lose one, they ARE part if the family.
Again, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about Max. You have my deepest condolences Lady T and Wayne.
I'm glad you were there for him in his final moments to comfort him. I'm sure he appreciated it.
How's Frankie dealing with this?

Sorry to hear about your loss. I just recently lost my Max on March 28 (he was a hybrid Himalyan/Persian).Animals become such a part of the family, and its so hard to see them go.

Thanks all for you kind thoughts. We just got home from the weekend in Ohio, and from delivering ExplosiveSoundz's car to him. A WONDERFUL weekend, except for the rain part.
When we got home, Max usually is sitting in the window waiting for us. He wasn't there this time, so LadyT lost it. He was a very good cat, and we will miss him, as will Frankie, as she doesn't get along well with the dogs (3). LadyT is off to the kennel to get 2 of them, and then to a friends to get the oldest of the 3, so she will be doing MUCH better when she get covered with doggy kisses Her nickname around here is "MuttMaster". She loves her animals, and they love her right back.
Thanks again
