Default Lost my two little Buddies.....

Hey everyone....I haven't been on here much lately because I've had a tough and heartbreaking past couple of weeks.
It started with the tornado's tearing up my girlfriend's neighborhood. Her house was spared but others were damaged. Her neighbor next door had a tree removed at the fence line and the stump had to be removed. He didn't bother to tell her ( Tonda ) that a section of fence was removed. He just simply forgot. Tonda let her dog ( Barkley ) out on a Thursday (April 21) nite and he got out...5-10 minutes later he was hit and killed by a car.
We didn't know this until the following day because we were up till 1:00am looking for him. Tonda was really tore up about it but she is learning to forgive. It will take time.

My mom had to be rushed to the E.R. that same week due to choking but she is fine now. She is 87 and in a Nursing/Re-Hab Home .

Then it was my turn. I had to put my 15 year old Sheltie ( Brodie ) to sleep last Monday. I was able to prepare myself for that one but not for Barkley. I will miss both of my Little Buddies but hopefully in God's New Creation; We will All see our pets that have gone on before us.

For everything there is a season. And upon us all a little rain must fall. Yet know this to shall pass.....Barkley and Brodie were both cute friends to have had in your life. I see from your pictures you had Brodie from a whittle puppy.. he had to have been a great source of pleasure to you. Come home from a long crappy day and what would put you in a good mood, his barking and sloppy kisses. Your girlfriends Barkley looked like a fun loving dog, all curly haired and from the look of him, always in trouble. Tough to see him meet his end by a vehicle. This chapter comes to a tearful end, yet another friend will come along for you both. My friend went to a shelter and rescued 2 dogs and I have to say they are amazing animals. They are so cool I love them both. I have 3 Jack Russels, and will soon be where you are now as they are all aging, the mama I have had since 97, the other 2 are her babies, but they have been here since like 99 and 2000.
Like the song "Season's in the Sun" We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun, now the wine and the song and the seasons are all gone. Good bye to you my trusted friend we have known each other since we were nine or ten........Bye Barkley & Brodie!!

May your mother God bless her, find good health and the strength to enjoy her family. Love and peace be upon her....
