hahahahahahh there is NOO wayy i would trade my monte or any of the family cars for that (even the import mitsu eclipse, at least it goes faster lol) at least i know one car me and my monte can most def beat in a race =D

Right now gas prices are down and everyone has forgotten that the day will come when gas is over $4 a gallon again. People buy that and don't realize taht when gas is around $2.50 a gallon again that they are saving that mcuh more ,they go out and buy big gas guzzlers again. The SMART car was bad timing. It came in the middle of high gas prices and by the time it was widely distributed and available, no one cared because gas was lower again. I've paid up to $64 to fill my Monte Carlo.... now I rarely pay over $40.

This car on the other hand may be widely distributed and available by the time gas prices are high and they may just make a killing. Things like this are all about timing. My dad swears if the Corvair had been 10 years later it would have been one of the biggest successes of all time.... But that's another. time will say how this thing plays out.

If I really wanted and/or needed to have a car that had impressive MPG numbers, I'd buy a manual Geo Metro.

HA that car is too funny.....they are just as bad as the smart cars i see driving around...poeple look funny as hell driving those things

It looks like they combined an old cabover 18 wheeler from when federal laws included the length of the entire vehicle instead of the truck and trailer independently with a Prius...
