Default looks like MN is shutting down....

I don't folow politics but looks like MN goverment is shutting down alot of services tonight at midnight...

Judge orders most services to go dark | StarTribune.com


IMHO these people get paid WAY too much for what they do, the representatives and the govener wont come to a conclusion, i think alot of it has to do with the govener wan't to increase taxes on the states wealthiest people but o wait that will include the representatives so we all know they won't go for it.. ... if these goverment workers just took a pay cut(if i remember right there is some making 100k+) we wouldn't have such a budgit issues

Those city workers organized and fought for the pay and benefits they got.

yep it's shut down... they couldn't come to an agreement, seemed to be alot less people on the roads.. idk if it had anything to do with this or just the 4th weekend

I am pritty sure health care is one of the few things that they found Eseential and most of it is federally funded so it's not shutting down

unless she was a state employee... then she can apply for unemployment and medical assistance

She isn't. She told me she doesn't have health insurance anymore until further notice. Maybe she misunderstood.
