The choice of what to get is totally up to you. I respect your opinion on the looks of the new Charger. I have been hearing for years that parts for Dodges are hard to find and people won't buy them for that reason. I've driven Dodges most of my life and have never had an issue finding parts. As far as reliability Mopar gets a bad rap from many of the consumer groups especially Consumer Reports. Some of my best and most reliable cars were cars that Consumer Reports said were the worst on the road. I don't put much faith in their opinions anymore.

drove the G8, M5, M45 and GS430.... and ohh man each one is in its own class.
the most fun i had was the G8, had a six speed and the 6.0.... plain raw power, handles better than i thought but fuel economy is the worst in it and traction seems to be a challenge even on a dry road, so imagine winter in Chicago...also the dealer didn't have the GXP allowed for test drives the only one they have has 4 miles on it and its in arizona so they give you the idea of the feel of the car with the GT edition but if i want the GXP they're willing to deliver it to my door step they want to keep the super low miles for price reasons....
the M5 was just as good as the G8 and beside the interior and price tag they're pretty much the same, it does look more aggressive however...alot more but the price tag on an 02 M5 with 27k on the dash is very steep.
the M45 is the most comfortable car all around, decent power, handling and traction, fuel economy should be decent too but only comes in an auto.
the lexus had 8 freaking gears...that alone pissed me off, if you floor it you have to wait for it to drop 4 or 5 gears before it takes off....but great fuel economy...still the least on i liked but had the most features and options for the price.

test driving a STS v8, Lincoln MKS, Mercedes E55 and Buick regal tomorrow... we'll see what i choose out of those 8 cars...

A new Super Bee would be pretty nice. I was never a fan of how the old front end of the chargers looked so I never thought the new front end looked any worse like everyone else does. I think the new styling on the sides and rear look much better though.
