Do you think that the bar will improve handling that much? I'm still learning about how what kind of parts do to affect different aspects of the car. It looks like a very simple mod, putting a bar across the engine bay so I wanted to know the impact it would have. If it was such a big deal I might go about my own project like this.

I havent had the new bar on to see how it affects handling but I did have the factory style one that I bought on for a little while. There was a slight difference but it was barely noticable. The new bar is alot stiffer than the old one so I hope I see an improvement. I dont expect much. Its more of I built it because I had the time and the tools at my disposal and I could do it for mad cheap.

Default STB Installed PIC

I installed my STB this morning. Im happy with how it looks. I ended up going red and silver and Im happy I did. I also noticed a difference in cornering over the other STB I had. I had a little fun on the empty roads this morning testing it out. With this new front brace and the rear one, there is almost no body roll in the car now, just the give of the suspension. Now I just need stiffer springs...

Yes I did lose a nut while I was taking off the old brace. My engine bay ate it up. Goodbye nut.

If you ever want to make another and sell it I'd always be interested. Looks good.

I actually have the factory style STB I took off the car if you want it. Its in good shape but the paint is all scratched up from using it as a template for the new one. 50 bucks plus shipping if you're interested.

LoL `Matt, I lost many `nuts lol, but I don't think
I've ever had a engine bay eat one lol

It's looks Super on your `Monte & I'm sure that you could
start making custom parts, and custom paint work
in your near future & make Big $'s doing something
you love 2 do.
Thanks for posting/sharing, and please keep us
updated on all your projects.
We enjoy your updates to your Monte & work that
you do for others.
Hope U post pic's of the roll cage on the Civic.
Is he racing it ? Does he have a mod'ed VTEC ?
Thanks `Matt, We R `Impressed 4-Sure : )
Good Luck with your future creations/adventures.
Peace/Out/Space

I think he just wants to drive the car on the street. He is putting a K20 in it I guess. At first he wanted to put in a 3.2 V6 out of an Acura TL but he changed his mind because of the small aftermarket. Ill try and take pics of the cage when we are done.
