Glad you are enjoying the sights that is one stunning area of the USA. After the trip last summer I know why they call it Big Sky Country.

 

Hi Barb, I like the Minion in the Mount Rushmore Pic! But he should have been the 5th face on the Mountain!

BBMike, I know you don't get off the beach much? At least this way you can share in the Beauty of the trip!

There are I few reason why I'm making this move.
(1) The biggest one is that Mo's parents are in there 90s. They don't need care, but could use a little help would be nice.
(2) Since I don't have a Degree, I'm just Advanced Naval Electronics trained, (the same training a college student would go thru without the electives) the east cost has been paying me Entry Level salary. Even though I have 30+ years of experience. Out here, entry level is a $6 per hr raise. And my training and experience count! So i can start higher than entry level.
(3) No State Income Tax! Need I say more?
(4) For what I was paying in rent for my 3 bedroom Closet in NJ I can get a 4 bedroom, modern House with a 2 car Garage, a back yard, a front yard, a driveway!
(5) A lot less snow! My Birthday is the first day of Spring. In 52 years it has Never Snowed on my Birthday, this year it did. I am So Done with the snow!
(6) I've seen the east cost. Even in the Navy I was stationed on the east coast. I want to see the rest of the country, including Alaska. I've spent a lot of time in Texas, (Houton, San Antonio and Brownsville) I've been as far north as Quabec. I've done the East coast. And although I Love NY, The Greatest City in the World, I want to see what the rest of the Cities have to offer.

So that's why I'm making this move. I'm sure I will have a couple more reasons in a few days.

I will be back to the East coast from time to time. My Kids, My Grandkids, My Mom and my Siblings are all in the NY, NJ area. They will come to see me but I need to go see them too. And I have a reason to go back soon. My youngest son and his wife are giving me Grandson #2 in May! And I Miss my kids already.

We Made it. But this is going to be a Short Report. My Everything Hurts! I Love my Minion but I Never Want to spend 3109 mile in 5 days again! You guy were all Right though there was a lot to see!

Thanks to all of you who took interest and Followed me on this Jurney. You guys made the trip a lot easier to swallow!
