I am guessing that folks who buy Chevy's are normal working class people.

It's the kids with the Hondas & Acuras that see to have things handed to them.

Well yeah they got a kajillion billion dollars to spend on upgrades to their ricers so they can go around beating us

parents bought me my first car for bday present but worked it off with my dad worked at burger biggie to pay gas and ins did not want to depend on parents for anything, but if needed they did help out. College was considered and parents offered to help out but turned it down told them if i couldnt do it on my own then i wouldnt appreciate it as much. So yeah they helped a bit but then again i never really asked them for any help either. IfI couldnt either do or get it on my own then i didnt really need it.

I work as a lifeguard, and I fix computers on the side, I make more money workin on computers than I do lifeguarding, and I work 10 fold the hours guarding. I have to pay for pretty much everything, but I catch a break every once in a while when my parents get me gas or somethin.

My parents were and still are poor. I started working in the fields and orchards at about 11 for money, not that the dollar allowance wasn't grand, but it didn't go far. In 5th grade, I earned earned enough and saved to buy my 1st NEW bicycle, a Sting Ray type bike, with a 5 speed shifter on the center bar, a bananna seat, and a tall sissy bar. Purple. Had it stolen 3 years later.
I paid for every car I've ever driven. I bought and gave to my Dad his current car, a '97 LeSabre Limited. He's 91 now.
Nothing in life is free. You might think it is, but at some point in time, you will have to pay the price.
