Cort,

My heart problem was a tad different than yours but I belong to the "Zipper club" as you do. Pre surgery anxiety is to be expected. They have come such a long way with this stuff I belive you will be just fine going in and better coming out.
By now you know the drill just mind the doctors! Keep us informed about your pending surgery .... best wishes and prayers to you!

Cort, My friend, your quotes are awesome, thanks for sharing them with me/us. I have you in my thoughts all the time, you are a great person and friend, I'm so glad I had the chance to meet you and I look forward to seeing you again someday......

PS: I like all the quotes, but this one was pretty good, thanks

...too short. We are NOT guaranteed a "next time" to take action, meet, gather, talk, or say what is on our mind or how we feel. Just sayin'.
Hi Cort, You're so right.

My father who is now in his late 70s is having memory problems. The specalist he saw thinks it's a two-fold type dementia. He wants to do more tests on my dad to see if they can pinpoint the problem? They believe the oxygen given to my dad 10 years ago during open heart surgery was the start of the problem. Hopefully this is some medication can keep in check.

Getting old is H--L!
