I have 2 LED tvs and a few LCD's floating around. My favorite brand is samsung, imo they seem to have the best picture.

I have a toshiba regza lcd to Jerry. Like others have said Led,lcd, plasma. If your just shopping for the best price on a new TV you may want to wait a few months. After christmas they usually have pretty good sales on them.

I have an LG 55LM7600. It is LED & LCD. I absolutely love it. If they show welding or the sun, you can't look directly at the screen.

I have a LG 60" Plasma. Can't complain. When I bought it, I was in the market for an LCD (LED's were brand spanking new, and outrageous). The picture on mine is comparable to the LCD's I looked at. I think the general consensus is LCD's and LED's are better, but since I've never had either one, I can only tell you about what I have.

LED! Better because less energy consumption and doesn't give off as much heat as the other mentioned sets. I sooo want to replace my 32" LCD with a LED but the darn thing still works LOL! Does anyone want to buy a TV from me! The sets I have been looking at are dropping in price and I can find a comparable LED for just under $500. I paid $800 for my LCD in 08

I was thinking about getting a LG 55LM7600 next week. Do you still like your TV? Any problems or concerns??

currently using a 37" Westinghouse LCD. Bought it at a pretty damn good price for its size ($200 at best buy, bran new just open package. Originally marked for almost $400, don't remember.) Probably was returned because the brand has a high failure rate.
Had the thing for about a year now, no problems. I don't have cable so its rarely on. Only used for xbox & netflix.

I had SUCH a huge smile on my face for the steal I got (and i had a 10% off coupon. the cashier hated me! ) It was a huge jump from the previous tv..a oldschool tv/vcr combo that weighs a good 90lbs..
Only thing I don't like is the sound quality. To make up for it, the xbox is hooked up to my radio/cd player, that has two giant 3ft speaker towers wired to it. ;D I could blast music so loud, it can probably run the neighbors out..
