you can yell at me if you want about starting a new thread to "bump" the old conversation but there are two new examples for people to view/ admire/ ponder over/ perhaps even enticing someone else into purchasing some customization

sparky-88's son's xbox - custom military/ camo theme ... i was given free reign on color choice, design, and concept so i went nutso and thought up some futuristic camo pattern and colors and then made the xbox look as though it had been shot through one side and blown out the other ... IMO - one of the coolest to date ... with the orange background color and bright orange color on the top, it was meant to look like some piece of hardware that was blown to bits and forgot outside in the desert or on mars and got all rusty :p





and the second one was for Lucian*91 ... or rather for his girlfriend, Lindsey ... requested something snoopy and her name in or on it somewhere ... so snoopy is taking a nap on his doghouse and lindsey's name is on the other side, fairly self explanatory





hopefully these will net some more customers down the road, if not here then somewhere ... hopefully lucian ( and lindsey ) and sparky ( and his son ) are happy with them when USPS gets off its lazy a$$ and delivers ...

i suppose the next step is actually resurrecting my old design website and updating things, but that requires work

edit - btw there are more pictures in the album in the photo gallery ... different angles and the like

Cool! You can just keep adding newer pics of your work as new posts to your original thread to to bump it. That way everyone can find your stuff in one place. I have my artwork in an album and on 1 thread that I will keep adding pics to. If I had one of these I may have tried to paint one, lol. I really dying to do someone's engine/plenum cover.

 

yeah i took mine out and sanded it down, repainted it a gloss black and went to do the letters and screwed it up ... i tried to use model enamel paint and a paintbrush and i got a little impatient and it ran all in the gaps and ruined it ... i was pissed so i just touched it up with a sharpie and slammed the hood shut and havent looked in there since ...

im waiting for a real boring night at work to redo it ...
