According to the U.S. Department of Labor, Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union. The Central Labor Union held its second Labor Day holiday just a year later, on September 5, 1883.

Im not goin anywhere this weekend, but wensday im leaving on a lil trip that ill update on as im on it lol

 

Today. Cutting the lawn 1st. Then MAYBE start on my Engine cover. I bought the paint a week ago. Then maybe go see a movie. Then Sunday is what ever day. But at 6 pm were meeting at my daughter's to make our draft choices for a new football game. The whole family plays PIGSKIN PICK'EM. This yr were trying something a little differnent. Monday ??? Still up in the air on that day. Last big Holiday of the summer and that's all I've got. Sad....But at least I'll be with my two daughter's & grand kids. My other son will be doing the picks from Fargo. Should be fun..........

Lol Space yup another one of thos trips & it could be one of those things or it could be em all lol we shall see lol & yeah ill deff be taking it easy for sure

 

After all day downtown Detroit on Friday and all day downtown Lansing at a car show ths ole dude is chillin Sunday and Monday iam tired.

 

Going to my moms farm tom to take pictures hang out and have dinner. Prob go out and brush all the horses, shine up the monte at some point( washed it today but didnt do my rims or anything) Monday will be just hanging out, go to the dogpark, possibly shampoo the carpets then to flyball practice!

What I won't be doing is going to Disney World and working for Mickey Mouse. I'm taking the day off and spending it at home with the wife and kids and working around the house.

 

I have to work - I start my new part time job tomorrow at 6am (it's in retail) and It's about 10 miles from my house. Then after that I start my new full time job on Tues.
