Default key less remote ?

OK. Both of my wife's Cobalt keyless entry key fobs do not work at all. The dealer is Nuts on his prices for two of them. Has anyone on here dealt with a place on line or other pesonally ? I'd like to make sure of a place that someone has used before. Thanks Rick

I bought a couple off ebay that worked and were fairly cheap. Odd both would go bad. Did you have the dealer test them?

cartunes...and mickeyshores....I had to replace 2 of them on my monte...

Lemme guess.. the dealer wants so much..getting a car alarm instahled would be cheaper!

Okay, I'll ask the obvious question. Are the batteries dead? Or have you replaced the batteries recently? Maybe they need to go through a relearn?

I've run into alot of remote issues, what has been happening is the bracket that holds the batter comes loose from the board. If you're good with a sodering iron, re connect it back to the board, that fixed ours.
