It continue's into this year also . I had it happen for the 1st time this year today. I was on my way to my daughter's to drop off her Sun glasses she left at my place on Sunday. And what comes up along side of me?? A Red Monte carlo SS. Are you freakin kidding me. Here we go again. last year if I had the chevelle out ...a monte would come up along side. If I had the Monte out some kind of Classic car would be close! Talk about BAD timing on my part. Can I get a break here just once ? Thanks I just had to chew this up and spit it out

 

So you want to be the only one on the road with that car at that time? Lol that never happens for me so I try and make my vehicle unique so they stand out among the others lol but right now its going slow since to mod it takes money which im ususally shy of

 

For me its always seeing Montes on the West Bound side of the Highway coming into town when I'm heading East Bound to work !

 

No. What I mean is. if I'm in the Monte. I wish I'd see another one when in it. Or if i'm in the Chevelle. I'd see another classic car. Not the other way around. My timing is way off its seems

Seems to be the same way with me, the few Montes I do see around, I usually only see when I'm in the 944 or with someone else. There's a few older Porsches around, including another 944 and a 968 that I only see when I'm in the Monte.

However, if I drive the F150 I still see plenty of them on the road.

 

Rick it could be worse. When I see a classic or a nice Monte, I'm driving a minivan.

 

I dont really have this problem there is not many around here and if so there not like mine at all......most of the dd and beat to hell

 

well i don't have to worry about seeing another yellow monte ss next to me....i got the only one around here <grin>

 

Same here! every freakin time i got the minivan and kids, is when i pull up beside a monte or another classic.
At stoplights, gas stations etc.
