Cool Junk'in!!!!! pics!

ok, so i took quite a few pics yesterday at the closed junkyard i visited, now you also have to keep in mind the place is being cleaned out, there are a bunch of semi trailers ( some in the pics), they were packed floor to celing a couple of months ago. also, alot of the pics are hard to see the vehicle in question because the place is so overgrown, imma do my best to make captions for everyone.... ok so here goes....

first 2 pics: what greeted me at the gate...

a few elcominos, and a 4th gen LS monte! lazer straight & rot free

this elcomino SS had a factory 4 speed and a $5,000 price tag

57 chevy 210 2 door sedan

57 chevy belair 4 door hardtop

55 chevy 4 door sedan in the backround, i dont remember what the white trunk in the foreground belongs to....

57 chevy 4 door wagon, intact except front clip, driveline, and stainless rear "fins"

another 57 4 door wagon, this one is not as intact as the one above, lol only 1 fin, the roof, chunks of the floor, & frame ramain..... along with some SUPER nice & hard to find window trim

a 55 4 door wagon, VERY complete!

imma make another post, more pics to come!!

Thanks for sharing. It seems a shame to the cars so overgrown.

Default part 2.....

ok, some of the other vehicles in the junkyard....

this is a 49 (?) caddy fastback sedan, VERY rare, hard to see pic....

a mid 50's buick 2 door hardtop.... also rare

a 58 chevy 4 door sedan...

and another 58 chevy, this one is a 2 door sedan...

a 2nd gen camaro Z28...

2 furd "retractable" hardtop convertables, side by side.... very rare...

there was also a bunch of trailers on the property, here is a look inside of one....

this one had some chevy engines, and a bunch of hoods....

THIS one contained everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink! we dragged 5 sets of cylinder heads for a big block chevy out of it, some NOS GM seatbelts, a NOS chevelle armrest base and a new in the box spungy foam steering wheel...

a MINT ( under all that mildew) oldsmobile sport wheel....

this one contained a '39 sedan delivery body shell that had the top chopped in the 60's...

we also got a T-10 for a ford, and an anson 2 peice blow-proof bellhousing from 1961!

so.... what do you all think?

idk if they offer camping, lol. there is a grungy old winnabago setting in the middle of the yard..... but i have first dibs, lol

the yard is only about 7 acres, but its in the middle of a residentiall neaighborhood! the guy who ran it was an old timer who passed away, he left the whole place to his best friend, who is 70 some odd years old, cool old guy, but he gets overwhelmed easely if there are alot of people there. most people would. anyways, the township is coming down hard on the junk there, so they are cleaning it up, the property is for sale & it is not a toxic waste ground like most junkyards, its just full of stuff.... not for too long, though

Tell me HOW.... I can get parts off the LS Monte?

The '57 Chevy parts would be cool, too.

And that mid-50s Buick is a 1957 model.
