Hi Kerry & Member's, (Thanks 4 Sharing)
It's so `Sad that someone had no respect for this Monte Carlo 4-Sure...
I'm sure `Brent will vomit when he see's this car.

This car had a prior "Reconstructed" title due to a small fire in the trunk.
"Prior"
If the owner did not care about the body, I'm sure he did not care about the Engine/Driveline etc...
Maybe a parts car ? or maybe just a Nightmare
It's very sad 2 me

I would avoid that car at all costs. Never mind the fact the 8's are upside down. I'd be pealing those off first thing I got it. (do it right, or don't do it at all)

This question and answer from the ebay listing says everything I need to know:

Q: Hi,Tim what caused the fire in the trunk? was it when you owned the car? what was the total extent of the damage? Has it all been repaired? I live in Binghamton N,Y not far from you. I am Very interested in the car. I have one allready and am looking for another one. Thanks

A: Hello, The fire took place before I purchased the car. From what I understand there was a battery in the trunk of the car that exploded from the heat because it was mid july when it occured. It has all been replaced/repaired. The trunk lid, rear window, tail lights, rear bumper, due to fire and rear seat, and carpeting due to water and smoke damage. Nothing in the front was injured so it did not need to be replaced. Tim
I noticed the trunk lid was replaced with one off of a 2005 model, since the trunk lock is missing. (2004 has a key entry trunk lid)

The guy says the decals are weathered and pealing, but can be replaced pretty cheap. If he's talking about any of the factory original decals, they ain't cheap. I know that for a fact. Don't know where he got that signature from on the trunk lid. Doesn't look like Dale Jr's signature at all. Looks like the owner signed the trunk lid himself.

But the cosmetic stuff is not what turns me off of this car. It the extent of the fire damage. If that much stuff had to be replaced, how good is the wiring and other stuff underneath in the rear of the car?

I could never completely trust that car.
